It was an enchanting morning weather wise. Leaving the city, a dense foggy patch started to indicate that clouds would be unique and indeed they were, often hanging below the mountaintops, sometimes hiding the sun, but mostly letting it through. This is usually such a 'mundane' spot, but today the emerald colour of the water against trees with a dusting of snow made me stop and actually capture the scene. It's hard to believe that the last time I had stopped at this very lake, it was to spend an afternoon on the beach.
